| The ila directors are in the process of establishing a charitable foundation called ‘The Beyond Organic Foundation’ to continue our work in supporting ethical partnerships with communities across the globe. ila actively supports organic and ethical farming and harvesting by building relationships with local producers and encouraging the continuation of traditional and sustainable practices.
We work with the local communities to understand how to ensure that their way of life will continue to be sustainable in the face of climate change, mass produced synthetic alternatives and commercial pressure from large buyers.
All of our major growers are in contact with us and we take every opportunity to meet with them and learn about what they are growing, how they are growing it and what benefits they are bringing to their environment and community.
We continue to be elated at the number of people worldwide working with such integrity and awareness. Increasingly, cooperatives and individuals approach us with new projects and we look to see if we can use their raw produce in our products and support them in any other way
