ila is the Sanskrit word for earth, a sacred name associated with earth,
flow, refreshment, and the source of well-being. There is a sacred place
in northern India at the confluence of the Sarasvati and Drishdvati
rivers. The place is known as ilayaspada or the place of ila, and is
considered to be an extremely holy place .
ila’s vocation is to bring purity, energy and balance into everyday life
by creating luxurious skincare products that work on a number of
different levels: to improve natural beauty through the health and
vitality of our skin, to increase well-being through the transforming
effects of energy healing, and to connect to a greater sense of inner
serenity.
